How to Enter
Entry is FREE. Artists can submit up to 3 entries.
Registration now closed.
Open to all artists regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, Beyond the Binaries encourages artists to think of art as a tool for activism and the promotion of social equality. Beyond the Binaries invites art that looks past the black and white; that explores the spaces,
the identities, the world that exists beyond and in-between these poles. The world and its inhabitants exist as a vast spectrum and Beyond the Binaries looks to celebrate this palette. Artists are invited to create work that stimulates dialogue about the representation of lesbian, gay, bisexual,
transgender, queer, intersex and straight identities.
Stage 1 – The selection panel will choose up to 30 Finalists from the images submitted online for exhibition at The House of St Barnabas.
Stage 2 – The selection panel will choose an overall winner and runners up at the Awards Ceremony at The House of St Barnabas.
